At home in my pyjamas !

That's right I am at HOME !!!This week has been crazy : meeting people I didn't expect to meet, sleeping in places I hadn't planned to, doing things I didn't even think I would do... First of all, I took the plane to Kosice on Monday, pretty straightforward...

Crazy socks washed and drying...

So, just before packing my suitcase and organizing bags for flying off to Slovakia, a quite note to show you these: Yeah, it's been yet another calm knitting weekend, so inbetween drowning in Ravelryness and eating and doing laundry, I set my needles...

Ravelry and a nice postal surprise

As everyone has already said in their blogs, Ravelry is a great tool/community.It's a great way to organise projects to come, the stash and list all wips or ufos... it puts alot of things in perspective... and then there's the forum and the groups where...

Oh wow!

as I said oh wow ! I'M IN RAVELRY.... I can't believe it.. I looked just 2 days ago and there were over 2000 people in front of me in the queue... They must really be going for it in the invite zone... Tell you more about it as soon as I have had my first...

Out of wasteland and back into sockland

Hey! This is the second time I'm writing this... I wrote a nice post yesterday but somehow it disappeared when I saved it. So I had the photo but was angry at the technology !!! So, the boring scarf is finished, I am so relieved ! Actually I cheated in...

Plodding along in scarf wasteland

I haven't posted about this yet because it's soooo boring... As the title says, I'm lost in scarf all knit rows wasteland. I've done something like 30 cm from when I took it up again so only another 10-15 to do.I do notice though that I knit really reluctantly...

I just changed the page on my calendar to November... only one page left on it! Have to get me a new one... but I don't know what type I want this year: kittens and puppies, a town (had Ipswich this year) , flowers, a funny one... I just got back from...

So so happy

I ranted a few weeks ago about a job change, remember ?! So, I got the dream job, the really cool one, the real "step up" one ... yeh yeh yeh... I was sunny and brimming with joy all afternoon (got the news over lunch with futur boss) and generally disrupting...

2 yes 2 FOs !!!

So, after I wrote yesterday, I managed to buckle down to sewing to "bathroom recipient": It sewed up ok but it's a bit droopy... I vaguely remembered reading about it having to be starched so I got out the instructions (Tricot Facile by Hachette Collections)...
